Defining SLAs around Microsoft 365 health

For MSPs managing Microsoft 365 tenants, health score SLAs give you a concrete, measurable commitment to clients: their tenant will maintain a configuration health score above a defined threshold. This turns M365Clarity's health score from an internal metric into a client-facing deliverable.

A typical SLA might commit to maintaining a score above 70 (grade C or better) for all monitored tenants, with a defined response time to investigate and remediate any tenant that drops below the threshold. M365Clarity's SLA tab gives you the dashboard to monitor this commitment across your portfolio.

What the SLA tab shows

The SLA tab shows you each client tenant's current health score against your defined threshold, the trend direction (improving or declining), and any tenants that are currently in breach or approaching the threshold. It's designed for the weekly or monthly MSP review conversation — a quick health check across your entire client base.

MSP tip: Use automated weekly scans for all client tenants so your SLA dashboard updates automatically without requiring manual re-scans. You'll be alerted by email when a client's score changes significantly.

Turning SLA data into client conversations

The SLA tab gives you the data for proactive client conversations. Rather than waiting for a client to ask "how's our Microsoft 365?", you can reach out when you see a score declining — "we noticed your score dropped this week when a Conditional Access policy changed, here's what we're doing about it." That's the kind of proactive service that justifies retainer fees.

Paired with the Executive Summary

For formal SLA reviews, pair the SLA tab with the Executive Summary export. The AI-generated narrative explains the current state of the tenant in plain English, making the review accessible to non-technical clients and giving your account managers something concrete to discuss.

See this in action on your tenant

M365Clarity scans your Microsoft 365 configuration and shows you exactly what's in your plan, what's configured, and what's sitting idle — in plain English.
